Terms of service
Last updated 2026-09-07.
These terms are the agreement between you and Warcaller (“we”, “us”), operated from the United States, for the use of the Warcaller website, dashboard and Discord bots (together, the “service”). By signing in or by inviting one of our bots to a server you accept them. Our privacy policy explains what data the service handles and is part of these terms.
1. What the service is
Warcaller runs a set of Discord bot accounts that relay voice from one voice channel you designate (the command channel) into other voice channels you designate (party channels), in your server and, on the Alliance plan, in one linked server. Voice is relayed live and is never stored. Configuration happens in the dashboard; starting and stopping happens with slash commands or from the dashboard.
2. Who may use it
- You need a Discord account and must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Discord requires its users to be at least 13 years old, or older where local law says so.
- To set up a server you must hold Manage Server or Administrator in it, which Discord itself checks when you invite a bot.
- To buy a plan you must be able to enter a binding contract (18 or older in most places, or with a parent's or guardian's consent).
- You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you allow to start relays.
3. Plans, trials and billing
- Plans are monthly subscriptions tied to one Discord server. Prices are shown on the pricing page in US dollars. If tax has to be collected where you live, it is shown at checkout before you pay.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.
- Every plan starts with a free trial of 7 days, granted once per server and once per person. No payment method is needed to start it. If none is added before it ends, the trial simply ends and nothing is charged.
- Subscriptions renew each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. We do not refund partial periods.
- If a renewal payment fails, the plan keeps working for 7 days while Stripe retries the card and we notify you. After that, relays on the server stop until payment succeeds. Your settings are kept.
- You can move a subscription to another server you manage, at most once every 30 days.
- Changing plan takes effect immediately; slots above the new plan's limit are locked but their settings are kept.
- On the Alliance plan the linked server pays nothing while linked. Its access ends when the link or the plan ends.
- We may change prices. Changes to an existing subscription take effect no earlier than 30 days after we notify the account that pays for it.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- relay voice into channels whose members do not know a relay is running; announce it in your server and keep our bots visible in the channel list;
- harass, threaten or defame anyone, or break the law or Discord's rules;
- evade a ban, a mute or another moderation decision in any server;
- probe, overload or interfere with the service, or use it to record or intercept audio;
- resell the service or run it for servers you do not manage.
5. Availability and changes
We aim for the service to be up whenever your guild needs it. It runs on Discord and across the networks between you and us, so we provide it as is rather than with a guaranteed uptime. We may change, add or retire features, and we may suspend or end the service with reasonable notice. If we end a plan you paid for, we refund the unused part of the current period.
6. Ending the agreement
You can end it at any time by cancelling your plan, removing our bots from your server, or deleting your account from the Account page, which also cancels any plan you pay for. We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 4, that has not paid, or that puts the service or other users at risk; where practical we warn first.
7. No warranty, limited liability
The service is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as permitted.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state from which Warcaller is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where the law lets you, disputes are resolved in the courts of that state. Nothing here removes rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and for changes that matter we notify the accounts that pay for a plan at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms, and support of any kind, happen on our Discord server.
